2月22日－25日に国際腎臓学会シンポジウムであるISN（International Society of Nephrology）FRONTIES MEETINGSが開催されました。
当科からは以下の4演題をポスター発表させていただきました。

- Rosuvastatin pretreatment suppresses distant organ injury following unilateral renal ischemia-reperfusion in hypertensive Dahl salt-sensitive rats
- Decline in estimated glomerular filtration rate is associated with subsequent risk of end-stage renal disease and mortality in Japanese patients with pre-dialysis chronic kidney disease
- Serum phosphate and the risk of CKD progression and cardiovascular disease in pre-dialysis patients with CKD
- Underlying disease and the cardiovascular risk in pre-dialysis patients with chronic kidney disease―Fukushima CKD cohort study―

このうち中島先生、小田先生の発表した2演題がtop 10% postersに選出されました。
福島医大腎臓高血圧内科の存在感を示すことができた（？）のではないでしょうか。
また、学会会場では外国の方々向けに日本の伝統文化である空手の紹介などが行われており、国際学会ならではの雰囲気を感じることができました。
